I recently stayed at a hotel that was just a few steps from the Tanger Outlets and almost 2 km from the Locust Grove Train Viewing Platform, making it super easy to enjoy some weekend city strolls and see the local sights.

Here’s my unfiltered experience

I enjoyed my quick stay in a clean room with comfy beds. The location is perfect for travelers. The breakfast options were well-stocked and satisfying. However, staff professionalism left much to be desired, particularly at check-in. Despite the few drawbacks, I found it to be a decent stop during my journey.

Great choice for families

One nice moment was the warm welcome from the staff , they really made us feel at home and ready for a stay. The room was spacious and comfy , perfect for our family’s needs.

It was a bit pricey , but considering the comfort and amenities offered , I’d say it was acceptable.

The Hampton Inn Locust Grove features modern décor with spacious, well-lit rooms that are easily accessible, making my stay comfortable. The warm hospitality from the staff created a welcoming atmosphere that I truly appreciated during my visit.

Bathroom needs better cleaning attention.

The staff were welcoming and helpful during my

stay. The location was ideal, especially being right across from the outlet mall. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. A powerful dehumidifier would have made a big difference in the atmosphere.

Cleanliness needs serious attention!!! Issues like broken amenities, ineffective climate control, and inconsistent service levels come on strong. A little more investment in guest comfort would go a long way!!!

The King room was pretty decent. It had a nice large TV, which was a plus. The bed was comfortable, so I slept well. No complaints about cleanliness either. It was quiet too, which I appreciated. Did notice the bathroom set-up was a bit odd with a sliding barn door, but not a huge deal. Overall, nothing blew me away, but it was a solid stay.

This place really exceeded my expectations! I loved the cozy queen room and enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool, not to mention the fantastic breakfast each morning. The only little hiccup was the slow Wi-Fi, but it didn't affect my overall great experience. 😊

The queen room with two queen beds offered a great location for our travels, featuring clean and comfy beds with well-stocked breakfast options. Enjoying traditional Irish pancakes was a delightful surprise. However, the bathroom needed more thorough attention, and the check-in process felt a bit disorganized at times. Regardless, the welcoming atmosphere made for a pleasant stay overall.
